NCREE Sample Rate Issue BKT 20-Feb-08

Sample rate: Overruns occur at 2048 Hz.

In ClockPanel, reduced to 1024, then did the following analysis to determine a breakdown of processor loading:

At 1024 Hz with nothing turned off:	56.03%

Mts493Adc:	56.03 - 54.48 = 1.55
Mts493Dac:	54.48 - 53.76 = 0.72
Mts493Enc:	53.76 - 48.05 = 5.71
Mts493Duc:	48.05 - 39.80 = 8.25
Mts493Svc2:	39.80 - 37.95 = 1.85
Mts493Svc3:	37.95 - 34.25 = 3.70

Total for conditioners: 21.78%

Ads: 34.25 - 32.10 = 2.15
MemoryTerminal	32.10 - 29.32 = 2.78
Ufg 29.32 - 27.02 = 2.30
Pid, PiServo	27.02 - 24.26 = 2.76
VRamp 24.26 - 22.95 = 1.31
Span 22.95 - 22.50 = 0.45
a2t (Act2Tbl)	22.50 - 3.49 = 19.01 <--- BIG (variable jacobian enabled)
fa2t (CCMatrix) 3.49 - 3.13 = 0.36
t2a (CCMatrix) 3.13 - 2.79 = 0.34

Act2Tbl: Turning of variable jacobian:
		21.75 - 8.21 = 13.54% savings!

When using the 2434 processor, got overruns. Had to turn off variable jacobian in Table.dat, which reduced processor utilization to 84%

Switching to 51106E processor reduced processor utilization to 64%.

Need to turn variable jacobian back on, which will probably make the processor utilization high (although probably not overrun).

Because this poses a risk, reduce sample rate from 2048 Hz to 1024 Hz.
